Running an OCR assembly

Rapta supports a variety of deep learning AI models including optical character recognition. OCR is a powerful tool for validating wiring in large or complex machines, labels on products and a variety of other applications. During assembly creation, OCR verification can be selected as the desired action for a step. In this example we are validating the correct wiring labels positions in a copy exact panel including a PoE switch, and power supply. This is an automated process, once the user selects the assembly in Coaching, OCR validation for each step runs automatically.

In the event there is an error detected, we will display on the screen the incorrect label position enabling the operator time to correct. Once correction is made, select the RECAPTURE button to complete the validation process.
